Patient Pragya Chauhan from Pratapgarh was suffering from severe headaches, causing brain pressure and nerve swelling.
Initially had complaints of sustained visual loss, as a result, she lost her vision in her left eye. At GBH general hospital, she consulted with Dr. Nishant Aswani (Neurologist), who examined her and diagnosed her with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Disorder, and then he started treatment.
He did Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to the patient and prescribed medicines to reduce swelling in the brain.
In the present case, the patient’s vision has recovered to 60-70%, and the patient feels relieved and has been advised to follow up.
